Well i got it today, the sales guy said it had the new software on it, what does that mean?

ASFAIK the new software fixes problems with the mp3 playback and the operating buttons on the front (cover) :rolleyes:

he said it does, and now after looking around i got the scoop on, it. all i need now is a mini sd card.

My advice is .... get as big as you can afford ;) 1GB is NICE !

"DONT" get a cable and load your own ringtones... I just fried my second vx8100. Both times it did the same thing. First you upload some stuff, then about a week later you can't record sound. It's memory is full? So you try deleting some stuff, even thought you have tons of memory in your sound file. Still it will not work. The a week after that you can't send pictures? WTF! That's when I swap out. Just be warned~BitPim~is Junk!!!
