HTS S720 - Playing video

Can anyone tell me how well these phones cope with playing video (full length movies)? Thanks

Hey, as a proud owner of an S720....They don't cope well. Windows Media Player is just out of the question and landscape mode does not work properly for full length movies.

If you choose to install another AVI WMV viewer, the quality is just horrible!

I love my HTC, but media power is lacking. Get a better HTC or wait for the Diamond.

Well i use TCPMP player and it works fine. But you will have to convert the videos into lower resolution ones, because the processor just isn't fast enough and may not play smoothly. But at 320x240 resolution everything is OK :D.
