LG6200: speaker on/off

How do I modify the speaker setting on the LG6200. It isn't in the manual and there's nothing intuitive in the menus unless I am just having a bad day. All I see is speaker volume but it only ranges between low and high, omitting an ON/OFF option.

Well, clearly the UI was coded by a dimwit who has never heard of a use case. The setting is under the voicemail option. Inscrutible! Next time, get a Motorola.

Try the top (UP) on the navigation button, to toggle the speaker on/off.
